Dear Steve,
I just finished
my year-end 1997 record keeping of our household expenses. I
thought you might be interested in the efficiency of the geothermal
"Water Furnace" heating and cooling unit that you installed
during the construction of our home in late 1994. As you' may
remember the size of the house is about 3,800 square feet and
it is an all electric home. My average monthly cost for electricity
in 1997 was only $171 per month. Since I moved into the house
in February of 1995 my electricity cost for the entire time
has averaged only $175 per month. Needless to say I'm very pleased!!
In addition to the cost savings the
quiet, even heat of geothermal is a real plus. Not having to
worry about filling a propane tank or the dangers of gas leaks
or carbon monoxide build up, are also things that make me more
comfortable with the geothermal unit. If you have anyone who
is thinking about geothermal heating and cooling I would be
happy to discuss the job it's doing for me.
Sincerely,
Bob German
Dear Steve:
I wanted to let
you know that I am extremely satisfied with the Water Furnace
geothermal system in my home. I am concerned about energy efficiency
and am convinced that a geothermal system is the most efficient
and cost effective in the long run. It is also very comfortable.
My prior home was half the size of my
new home and my average electric bill now is less. lam conditioning
almost 5000 square feet for a budget amount of $123 per month!
Sincerely,

Customer Coordination
Dear Steve:
It's been six months
since you installed a new geothermal heating/cooling system
in our home and I wanted to write to you as an extremely satisfied
customer to tell you that this system does everything you said
it would and more.
First, and most important, this heating
system has evened out the temperature throughout our home. With
zone heating the temperature in different parts of our house
could vary by ten degrees even with all thermostats set at the
same place. And I could never get our lower level to feel warm.
Our geothermal system provides an exact and even temperature
through all areas of our home and makes for a significantly
more comfortable environment.
Second, just as you said, the geothermal
heat is noticeably cleaner and healthier than our previous gas
system. We have less dust and no odor. We don't worry about
carbon dioxide poisoning and have better humidity control than
we did before.
Finally, we are quite pleased with the
cost-effectiveness of our new system. Although it is more expensive
to install a geothermal system than a traditional system, the
operation savings and energy rebates will allow us to break-even
in about four years and begin saving money in five years. While
the significant Increase in the comfort in our home is more
than worth the cost of installation, it Is nice to know that
a geothermal system is also a wise investment.
Thank you for all the time you took
in helping us to understand the benefits of a geothermal system,
in giving us demonstrations, and in evaluating the best way
to install the system without disrupting our household too much.
I appreciate the professionalism of your employees and the prompt
attention you provide in response to questions and service issues.
Sincerely,
Joie Hand
Dear Steve,
It was about this
time last year that I called you to come look at our not working,
underground heat pump system. Unfortunately, for us the compressor
was shot. That was the last straw of what had been a long list
of problems in the 7 year life of that system. It was purchased
from another local Heating & Cooling Firm.
I learned to look at the quality and
warranty of the system more carefully. I also learned to look
more carefully at the honesty and reputation of the dealer,
that I would buy from.
I am happy to say we purchased our new
Water Source Underground Heat Pump System from Morrell Heating
& Cooling, and one year later we have had no problems. We have
heat when we need it, and air conditioning when we need that.
Even though the cost of the system was a little more, we are
now seeing a reduction in our heating/cooling bill. Thank You
Steve and Company for getting us on the right track!
Sincerely,
Terry Dickerson
